London Police Has Used The Double-Decker Buses To Catch Drivers On
Using Mobile While Driving
Police is keeping an eye on motorists
using the mobile phones while driving. Police has started an impractical but
clever way to spy on motorists from the top decks of buses. It is an attempt to
the seizure of more drivers making use of their cellular phones behind the
wheel and not obeying the traffic rules, not using the seat belts and even
breaching other rules. There will be no relaxation posed for any motorist who
is trying to put the life of other people at risk. There are many examples in
the previous years that drivers using mobile phones have ruined many pedestrians
where the bad ever was happened in Glasgow city center when a dumper ran over
the pedestrians and killed many of them last year. Keep learning more news

What Police Practices To Capture
Offenders?
An officer in Plymouth, Devon, pioneered the initiative on the
weekend, catching more than a hundred and thirty unsuspecting detrimental
drivers on Friday afternoon and Saturday. It is a horrific figure in just under
24 hours. From above, officers have been fortified to appear down into cars and
see motorists using their cell phones or committing other driving offences.
This time officers are using a new technique to spy the motorists while sitting
on the top deck of the bus and spying the motorists. As soon as the member on
the bus sees anyone using the mobile phone or breaching any of the traffic
rules, then alerted colleagues in a waiting patrol cars or motorbikes who
pulled over the offenders.
What Are The Results?
The outcome of using this technique is just awesome and police
have captured hundreds of suspected drivers in the previous weeks, of those
stopped, 39 had been making use of a cellular mobile, 36 have been pulled over
for no longer carrying a seat belt and two automobiles were seized for not
having valid coverage. So, almost every crime has been watched in this new kind
of patrol system. There were another 53 drivers were reported for dashing and
two extra were arrested for drug using while driving and several were driving while drunk to some extent.
What Police Says?
An officer of Devon and Cornwall Police says that this can be a
nice example of how police are able to maximize policing assets by working
carefully with partner corporations in the community. Given that from the first
of March 2017 the penalty for using a cell phone even as doubled to a £200 with
a six-point endorsement. But at the same time, public opinion is even worth to
stop this crime in the UK. A UK senior citizen upon asking said that, police
and government should consider a 5k + fine on the spot along with
disqualification for life, who use the mobile phone while driving. Simply,
pull over and switch the engine off, get arms cuffed and don't answer and speak
to them when they captured red handed.
Mark Horide, City bus engineering director,
stated the experiment had proved "very positive" and would be
repeated.
